By far one of my favorite design firms is Spain’s A-cero, and this house is one of the reasons why. The clean feel and open spaces gives it a peaceful presence, and the way they play with space and light is breathtaking. The house features two bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and closets, a gym, a living area, a kitchen, a solarium and a refreshing terrace. The house spans 2.000 m2 and ...

I’ve never really been a fan of Aston Martins (please fight the urge to hit me). I dunno its just that I’ve been in a few and I always found them to be very technologically challenged and awkward in a sense, but then again I’m no car expert so who am I to judge. But what I do know is that the new Aston Martin Vantage V12 Zagato is so beautiful that even if ...

This projection was designed by Rockwell Group for the 25th Anniversary National Building Museum Honor Award Gala in Washington D.C. The project was named “Build Up” and involved using iPad software and projection apps on a 18′ x 18′ geometric structure that displayed animated colorful cityscapes high above the guests at the event. Heres what they had to say about it: “The installation was more than just a digitally-enhanced chandelier. Guests were encouraged to interact with ...

Meet true innovation, a man powered vehicle that serves as a moving table. This reminds me of the Flintstones, sometimes going back is “moving forward”. I hate bus tours as they offer no sense of excitement, it is almost spending time on Google Street View minus the wind and get a similar experience. This little engine-less vehicle is powered by everyone that rests on it using pedals and can actually eat on the table and ...

Now, a lot of people might not consider playing this game simply because it is a rally game. I have played the previous games in the series for a very long time and to be honest I hated all of them till I played Dirt 2 almost 2 years ago. After the wait, Dirt 3 is here and it is CRAZY. I don’t enjoy rally but this game isn’t entirely rally, there are regular races, ...

This amazing amazing “waffle-like” structure built in Seville, Spain was recently completed in April 2011 and became the world’s largest wooden structure. It was designed by J. Mayer H. Architects and cost a total of 90 million euros to build! Everything about the structure is futuristic and unique, the way it clashes with the surrounding architecture makes it seem like something that landed out of space. The fact that it provides shade but ...

Bumpy Road is a game developed by Simogo. The app was featured as “iPad App of the Week”, so I decided to check it out. The story revolves around a couple who decide to take a road trip like they used to during their younger years. It’s similar to other 2D side scrollers but heres the catch, instead of controlling the car you manipulate the surrounding terrain to push the car in the direction you ...

The art of Max Kostenko looks like something straight out of a Pixar movie. His characters are so diverse and full of life, and the scenarios he puts them in are hilarious. Another thing I noticed is his use of light in his art it really adds that extra touch that makes his work so amazing. Oh! it is coming, I never imagined they’d make a sequel to one of my favorite movies of all time. Although the trailer does not provide any story specific elements (which I like) they kept it really funny and simple. This makes me want to re watch Happy Feet 1, hopefully this sequel does not ruin the movie like most sequels do. it comes out this November, 2011

Munny is a vinyl figure made for artists and designers. It provides a blank canvas for artists in the shape of a toy. Many amazing artists have bought these “Munnys” so I decided to scour the internet to see what I could find and the results are insane! Check them out after the break.

This amazing design is made to act as an extension of any home to serve as a retreat called the “Sun Roof” heres a brief description: “The Living Roof offers the essence of the city. It condenses all daily life’s needs into a compact and self-sustaining capsule. Intended as an urban rooftop getaway, but ready to be airlifted into the savanna at short notice, its ultra-insulated shell and regenerative systems allow the Living Roof ...

One thing I really love about the advertising world is the constant flow of creativity that almost no other profession has. Showcased here is a brilliant ad by “Anima Animation” where they are advertising for Heinz Ketchup. Normally, people would go for something generic, let’s put Ketchup on food  and then show the company logo and I think that is pretty unpretty! The people behind this ad are crazy as they worked with 3D and ...
