I’d like to start off by saying that this is one of the best apps I’ve downloaded in a long time. It seems like a lot of games are just rip offs of other successful games and there isn’t as much effort to make something unique and innovative but with Devil’s Attorney, thats not the case. Its not a shoot em up, kick em in the face action game. Its based on strategy and a solid thought process, ok that doesn’t sound very appealing but trust me it is.

You start out at the bottom and work your way up to stardom while earning new apartments and fancy cars which you customize to unlock new abilities and traits. The gameplay is one of the best out there but to be honest it was the gorgeous graphics and art style that made me buy the game.

When you first start playing, your greeted by one of the best intros with a catchy theme song, and it doesn’t stop there. The game looks fantastic and theres a beautifully animated cut scene before every case which just adds a whole new level to the game. I found myself playing for hours on end just to find out what happens in the next scene. The only issue I had with the game was that the soundtrack as a bit too overpowering and I had to mute the music in the game after about 5 minutes.

All in all, its clear that the developers didn’t cut any corners and really poured their hearts into their work and the result is a game you won’t want to miss out on! Download iOS App ($2.99)

The game as the name indicates is a side-scroller, only Rayman automatically runs and you tap anywhere on the screen to mainly jump but it is all about the timing. Similar to Origins, this game looks gorgeous, everything in the environment is painted with great detail and vibrancy that is generally unmatched by most apps.

The game also features a fun soundtrack, it might get old after a while but it is fitting nonetheless. More onto the gameplay, it is true that a lot of games offer similar mechanics but this game just does it right and makes the fun even more fun. What I like most about it is the fact that this game is for everyone, the casual and hardcore gamer, you can run your way to the end of a stage and pass or run and collect everything along the way which requires a lot of skill. I only wish there were more stages and more characters to play with. All in all, Simple gameplay, stunning graphics and a fun soundtrack makes this game a must have for anyone looking to have fun and even a bit of challenge.

The game is a side-scroller, your turtle will keep moving while it is being attacked from ground and air troops and you have to blast through them. This is a tower defence game as well as you have to be strategic, there are plenty of weapons to choose from but you can only equip 3 at a time, use them to attack enemies and protect your turtle. Even the turtle itself has power ups, spitting out berries, causing lightning and so on.

The game is beautiful, the art style and animations are top-notch leaving you hooked as the game also has plenty of stages and 3 difficulty levels to keep you coming back. I played this game on the iPad and it is wonderful and is for sure challenging, I did however find it quite hard to play on the iPhone as I have 2 thumbs constantly on the screen shifting from one place to another, I was only left with so little to see. That said, none this makes the game any less interesting, it is a brilliant game and you should definitely get it.

Such games like Zombie Rush, Temple Run, etc and this game is the same but sugar coated with a different flavor. You play as a UFO abducting people and animals, your obstacles are houses, fences, cars, etc. and you have 3 lives/hits and you must avoid the obstacles. The game is practically endless and loads of fun especially when the control is really easy, point anywhere on the screen and control the UFO.

The graphics and setting are very beautiful as well, adding to the quality of the game. Of course to make the game more interesting, upon playing you earn money and with it you can get new UFO’s, upgrade your health, and have certain abilities. However, this game does not offer anything new, it is the same thing we are used to and as I said it is a different flavor, that said, it is fun and free and you should definitely get it if your are looking to kill time with style.

This game is great as well, though it is almost the same with a difference in perspective, it has something very little to offer. You can still adjust the distance as well as the force but you are offered with abilities that help your shots gain more damage. Such abilities is an exploding shot and one that rains meteors on top the structures giving you instant kills.

This game can get addictive but honestly it is very familiar and not much changes over the course of stages as they look very similar and don’t quite present us players with something extraordinary in comparison to the ever-growing Angry Birds franchise. Sure there are more things to the game such as splitting shots and as far as everyone know that is an Angry Birds move where taping on the bird splits them into three.

It is very hard looking and playing this game without making a direct comparison to Angry Birds and as much as I try not to, I end up doing so because games should evolve genres and the little differences is what sets them apart. This game has so much in common things like when you miss all the shots you have, the remaining knights laugh at you, pick their noses and sometimes show you their behind. Though I like the art style in this game I wasn’t very fond of the characters, their extra huge eyes and not so memorable design does not help this game at all. All in all, and like I mentioned, this is a good game especially the new perspective it presents adds a lot of challenge and precision to get your one shot wins. It is a very polished game with a very amazing physics engine but its heavy similarities could draw it back. Though very similar, I had fun playing this game and though I compared it with Angry Birds, this game is still worth getting, it is fun.

Say you were sent a link on your device, you don’t have time to view it at the moment and you end up forgetting about it. This is where pocket comes in, it is an app that allows you to save content from Safari and not only that, over 300 apps support it such as Twitter, Facebook, Good Reader, Flipboard, etc.

As for the app itself, it works well on your iPhone, iPad, iPod and your computer too! save one thing on either and it gets pushed everywhere else and the good thing is, you don’t need internet to view it later. The captured content can be a webpage, images, videos etc. and Pocket organizes them for you in a very intuitive way.

The design of the app is gorgeous, it’s really simple and is the reason that drove me to download it. The app is a must have especially when it is free but there are a few issues that aren’t a big deal but worth mentioning. First the saved pages start saving saving when you open the app and not in the background. Second, some webpages have a fixed URL meaning when visiting another page on their site the URL stays the same and pocket does not recognize that so you end up bookmarking the homepage.

Like what Nintendo has done with the Mario franchise by taking it to space, this angry birds plays like the same Angry Birds we love but with a new twist. This twist comes from the fact that you play in space, some areas have gravity and others don’t, but most of all, it is more challenging as stages comes in many shapes and forms and almost none are a flat line like the previous installments in the game series.

This angry birds also brings our beloved birds back with an introduction with a few new ones, like a bird that freezes and an eagle which you could use rarely causing a black hole in space that sucks everything around it. The game also does a great job by introducing mini challenges, by collecting hidden golden eggs teleports the player to a mini challenge, much like the original Mario, jump in a pipe and you find something interesting.

I honestly believe this game is the next big thing, its addicting and you most likely would spend nights trying to beat levels on three stars. I only wish the game have improved its graphics and the ability to build your own stages, a lot of companies are creating that and it creates a longer and sometimes endless playing hours. All in all, a great game that indeed deserves a spot on your device.

This game has the same concept, you ride a vehicle in a side-scrolling game, avoiding obstacles and and speeding on ramps down and up hills to reach your destination. The gameplay is very familiar with a few additions to similar games in the genre, those being power ups like jumping, jetpacks and speeding. The gameplay itself is nice but in my opinion is that it did not offer much, sure there is more, finding hidden chests and the ability to upgrade your vehicles’ performance, but that is it.

The game starts off too challenging at the very beginning making the learning curve slightly harder. The art style on the other hand is beautiful, great scenery and fun animations even on my outdated first generation iPad.

All in all, if you are into such genre I’d recommend Bike Baron, a similar experience with exceeded quality, offering great gameplay, sounds, graphics and an in-game level editor making it a the full package. We have reviewed it before here and I’m not saying MotoHeroz is a bad game, I sure expected better, but the game for me at least did not have much to offer in comparison to other apps of the same genre that are available right now and for a cheaper price.

The movement is controlled by your rhythm with the song’s beats, so you just tap, tap, tap to make a move and I can easily say this game only requires your finger (or toe) and sound, as it requires that you hear the sound otherwise the experience is not playable. I found the game to be fun and actually found out that my whole boy was rhyming with the song just trying to align myself with the beat.

Unfortunately, after a while, all this innovation was put to rest as it felt very repetitive and became too challenging when advancing to newer “stages”. Another aspect of the game that is evident from the start is the art style and it just looks gorgeous from every angle. The animations adds a lot to the experience as it is full of life and dances along with the outstanding beats. All in all, this is definitely an innovative game, the reply value for me is short and I’m pretty sure others will find it great, but for me it is a good game.

Clear is cleverly named as it is truly clear and straight forward, using simple gestures you get to add tasks or (to-dos) with ease on the go and with style. Pinching lets you add a task, swiping a task in one direction completes it, and another deletes it. You can create main folders such as work, personal, etc. and within you can have your tasks. The color of the tasks indicate how important it is, you can re-arrange them.

The app is very smooth and visually pleasing, the sound effects play a great role and add a lot of the experience. Yes it is only a simple app, but it is done right and it would make managing stuff much simpler for me. Adding to the intuitive-design, when you have absolutely not tasks, the developers randomly place a quote in the empty screen giving you something to read when having no tasks, I loved how they also included a quote by JK Rowling.

Created by Im Pending and Realmac Software, this app is worth getting for those interested in creating simple tasks as fast and stylish as possible. Clear clearly defines and sets an example of what all to-dos apps should do, make our lives easier.
