Ok so technology has always been on fast forward and everyday theres a new headline about some “breakthrough” discovery. But every once in a while you get something that just stands out and really feels like it has a lot of potential, today that something is Leap Motion.
So what is Leap Motion?
It’s a small iPod sized USB peripheral that creates a 3D interaction space of 8 cubic feet to precisely interact with and control software on your laptop or desktop computer. Leap claims to be 200 times more sensitive than current gesture-based tech, able to track movements down to a hundredth of a millimeter.
The possibilities are endless, if the world went crazy with the Microsoft Kinect then imagine what it could do with this!
