Last July we featured some of the great work captured by Alexander Semenov from Russia. Ever since, he has been taking more photos of weird creatures that inhabit Earth’s oceans. The thing about these creatures is that some live in perfectly lit areas where others lay deep in darkness. Not only a great photographer, Alexander is also the Head of the Scientific Divers team at the White Sea Biological Station located in Russia giving him the advantage of exploring the seas.

What’s special about these creatures is their beauty making you doubt their existence as if were aliens yet what captivates me most is that these creatures are so tiny that your naked eye cannot see, its like sticking your face onto an iPhone’s Retina display trying to spot a pixel.

I invite you to check out Alexander’s gallery as it has so much more to offer and show you the very own oceans that we think we know.
