I’ve been to Singapore quite a lot and I love it there. One of the things that stand out is the Merlion Statue, but I never really knew what it stood for or how it came to be.

Well, Lydia Lee made a gorgeous animation that answers these questions.

Lydia is a motion designer and illustrator from Singapore, currently studying Motion Graphics and Broadcast design in Nanyang Polytechnic.

The video is called ‘Story Of The Merlion‘ and its made to look like paper which must have taken a lot of effort. But her work paid off because the result is a true work of art.

I miss Singapore, I’m definitely adding it to my list of places to visit soon.
