Skittles has been such a fantasy of childhood, all those colors and sweet taste all from a single little bag. Skittles is still here and it is advertising the same product yet again; however, by hiring Canadian-based advertising agency BBDO, they have approached it in a fresh new way.
Their slogan is “Taste the Rainbow” and by this these videos were spread only on the internet as they required the viewer to place one finger on a Skittle somewhere on the screen, it would later appear that your finger is part of the story. Your finger will poke a werewolf, play tennis with a zombie, get injected by a one-eyed man, etc.
This slight interactivity makes these videos special and by making us consumers sort of participate, we become part of the experience. Here are all the videos and they are very brief, go ahead touch the rainbow.
