In a industry shifting towards 3D-rendered movies, comes a movie with something entirely different. From the makers of award winning movie “Coraline” comes ParaNorman, a movie that takes that standard and pushes it forward.
When I say standard, I mean the fact that this movie was created entirely using sculptures and was shot frame by frame. To double the effort, each frame was shot twice from slightly tilted angles so they can also turn this movie into 3D. The movie can easily be mistaken to be a 3D-rendered movie, but it is amazing both ways.
The story goes that zombies are attacking a small town, the little boy who everyone picks on has the ability to talk to the dead and using this ability along with spiritual forces he has to clear the town out of zombies once and for all. Look out for ParaNorman this August.
