TED Talks are always inspirational for me, they’re just about the only educational presentations I am interested in as they are intuitive and the subjects are definitely new. YouTube’s “Trending” page apparently is not a updated automatically, it is actually updated by YouTube’s trends manager Kevin Allocca and his team.

In this video he gives us an insight on how and why some videos skyrocket viral whether they’re actually good or just plain stupid. Of course you can’t talk viral without mentioning the likes of Double Rainbow, Rebecca Black’s Friday, Nyan Cat, etc.

There are some interesting things to be learned whether you’re a video maker or just enjoys them as they are, or at least, the video is funny.
