I’m calling these amazing creations Paper Art 2.0 simply because they will dazzle you and remind you what white sheets of paper can turn into, in this case amazing art. Artist Jeff Nishinaka is currently based in Los Angeles and his work stretches way further than just a hobby, he has been doing this for 28 years and it has served many clients and it happens to be that Jackie Chan owns/has bought a lot of Jeff’s art for his keeping.

What makes paper art a really beautiful and extremely challenging medium is the fragility of paper when touched and can how it can easily get wet. Other than that, having no colors relies heavily on the lighting and how it casts shadows and sometimes that is harder to perfect than the sculpture itself.

I really love these sculptures and you will find tens more of his art on his website.
