One of the greatest movies I came to see is A.I. years ago and it was such a wonderful movie where robots are life-like till you see their insides. Of course such practice has been seen in different movies, games and art for sure.
This is a new collection of illustrations by Billy Nunez, a great artist from Brooklyn, New York who created sets of faces, that are dissembled and exposes there insides only to find some robotic mechanics. The illustrations’ style is really wonderful and the robotic insides are very cool, they are not pure ugly, they have a personality and color to them, they’re just sugar coated with human skin. Some of them look freaky but I believe he’s done a great job on all of them.
Drawing robots isn’t the only thing Billy can do, check out his gallery for comics, gun design, children’s illustrations and more.
