This mind twisting bridge is located in Singapore and judging by its complexity, I thought it is made for vehicles, turns out it is a pedestrian bridge designed for people to cross the river in style. It was designed by Cox Architecture & Design (based in Sydney, Australia) as an entry for a competition and it happens that this project was the winner and was indeed built.

I am fascinated by the overall twisting design, makes crossing a bridge a whole lot fun. At night LED’s shine this amazing structure with different colors making this bridge more of a monument. On the other hand, day time takes away much of the charm of the bridge, with lack of lights.

All in all, this is how bridges are supposed to look, not a lame straight line.
