The custom-built, luxury eco-villa is located on a secluded hillside above the village of Baan Para (in Phuket) and was named Dama Zamya, meaning “a peaceful retreat” in Sanskrit.
The tropical and contemporary, four bedroom villa was designed by Design Unit, who specialize in sustainable tropical architecture, Literally. Even the roof has some tropical element to it by being covered in grass.
The cement façade gives way to a planked, recycled wood patio deck (which was rescued from a 40 year old house nearby) that recedes into a gorgeous, infinity pool.
I feel like the interior design could use some work but lets be honest, with a view like that, who cares?
