When I first saw this, I immediately thought someone was inspired by Minecraft (game), regardless, it looks great. Designed by architect firm MVRDV, these apartments are located in Korea and they are a work of beauty. Standing at 300 meters high, these two buildings are not quite different than other buildings except for the cubic intersection taking place on the 27th floor and 10 floors up.

This particular cubic part of the buildings is the reason it is called “The Cloud”, because it is much cooler to have pixelated architecture, it also happens that rounded clouds would look quite lame in comparison.

These sets of apartments feature gardens and pools and as you can see they are amazing, which gets me to my point, who would choose to live on the other apartments on the non-cubic parts?
