The Excite Rally Raid Team (the first professional British Dakar team) will enter three vehicles built by RaBe Race Cars.
If they look familiar it’s because the body is borrowed from the new Range Rover Evoque. But under the hood, the power will be supplied by a “BMW 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six diesel engine delivering 275 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque”.
This year’s entrants in the Dakar Rally, will race across three countries, Argentina, Chile and Peru covering more than 9,ooo km in 14 days. They’ll start the race on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and finish at the Pacific.
I wouldn’t mind driving this to work, Id never be late.
