3D hasn’t really been my sort of thing ever since its rebirth in 2010 where we got bombarded with 3D movies. It is certainly a beautiful thing when done right but many chose to post-produce 3D causing a disaster.

The Red/Cyan glasses which always visualized ugly 3D, has been used as a visual style where artists mix and match red and cyan colors as if the drawings are 3D.

Here is where Stefan Da Costa Gomez come in and brought something very different, he created classical paintings using an actual canvas with paint but with a twist where he created Red and Cyan functional 3D effects within. It is much easier to create such a thing on the computer because there is a lot of room for trial and error, his work however is amazing. They look beautiful as they are but they actually also work with 3D glasses, so if you got them try them out.
