I came across this clever set of infographic illustrations showcasing the horrible cliches we see in just about every movie. I think movie creators follow these cliches because it is an easy ticket into creating a movie in a faster time and make sure they’re not experimenting and basically be safe. I think that gets old over time and these cliches has indeed aged too much.

This whole infographic was in fact a very clever campaign launched by The New York International Latino Film Festival where they try to highlight the differences between movies and films all in order to promote their film festival taking place on August 15. The info graphics were created by design firm called Wing.
