These designs were created by Marko Manev, an artist and graphic designer based in Skopje. Instead of drawing the actual superheroes in their full form, he uses symbols that have become synonymous with the actual character to represent them.
Its strange how a few lines and colors can bring out a whole concept in your mind. I guess it goes with the whole idea behind good branding. The way we automatically associate the “golden arches” of McDonalds with burgers and fries, or the Nike “swish” with sports.
I could name all of the superheroes before reading the names except for 4.
