Kinectic wave sculptures are non living structures that are able to move mechanically and not electronically. Reuben Margolin is one of a few people that can create a life-form out of everyday materials.

He scavenges anything he can get his hands on, cardboards, strings, wood, metal etc. cheap materials that with his magical brain create something astonishing. These structures are built with delicacy, they are fragile yet breath-taking at the same time. It is very unbelievable to see there non living structures move in such a carefully calculated loop, a lot of math is involved in creating those structures.

His main inspiration is nature as most of his work tries to depict the nature such as water ripples and moving caterpillars. This is a moving piece of art and can function as great pieces of architecture, I strongly believe one day large architecture with such concept will be able to move.
