Elizabeth Taylor was a legend, a queen of the golden screen, and her movies will live on long after her passing. So when it comes to selling the 7,000 square-foot Bel Air estate of the late Hollywood legend, its no surprise that it sold for $8.6 million.
The sale occurred in just 33 days after being listed on the real estate market on May 20, talk about a fast sale, especially in these economic hardships.
The four-bedroom home, purchased by Elizabeth Taylor back in the early 1980s, features a gated 1.27-acres with a gorgeous garden, a bricked motor court, a swimming pool, a galley-style country kitchen, an elegant powder room, and servant’s quarters. The buyer remained undisclosed according to the home’s listing agent David Mossler of Teles Properties.
I personally don’t like the home, but I do love the garden.
