Not sure how this functions as an ad but on a technological point of view, this is an amazing technology! A set of 480 shoes hanged on the wall and are able to turn up to 180 degrees all in response to music, joysticks and Kinect-like motion tracking. This is not a computer graphics render, this was done for real to celebrate a Converse collection coming up on Spring 2011. I do believe they could have made a better produced ad, regardless, this is a geeky tech fantasy, and I believe placing this in a store would be a seller! There are several videos, all short but worth watching.
